Luna Ji, MD

Luna is Head of Business Development at Yarrow Biotechnology responsible for leading the evaluation of preclinical and clinical stage assets for licensing and partnership opportunities.

Previously, Luna was the Lead of Greater China Search and Evaluation in the Pacific BD&L Hub of Merck Sharp & Dohme (“MSD”, also known as Merck & Co), where she led the evaluation of  life sciences and biotech opportunities across all therapeutic areas. Dr. Ji led multiple licensing deals with Kelun Biotech’s antibody drug conjugate assets.  Prior to MSD, Luna worked in Lilly Asia Ventures where she was a Vice President on the investment team and led multiple investments in both China and US across different therapeutic areas, she served as a Director of the Board on these portfolio companies.

Before that, she held therapeutics development roles in the pharmaceutical industry as Clinical Lead in the Novartis, and as Therapeutic Area (“TA”) Physician in the clinical development department at Johnson & Johnson.

Luna was trained as a physician and completed a residency in the Dermatology at Peking University People’s hospital and received her BS and MD from Peking University.
